men are more interested in technology than women. men are more tech savvy than women

women are more zealous online communicators an use email in a more robust way.
women have a tendency to be more involved with communication technologies. you see that in networking sites like facebook. so im not surprised women utilize email more than men. they are also more likely to use email to write friends
less disparity among internet users
recent studies show that women are catching up to men in overall use of the internet.

many religious sites are bonding sites. however, christianity.com attempts to reach non-believers as well. so with that as one of their goals, it is a bridging site.

cnn, a popular site to find the latest in news can be considered a bridging site. though news is for the people as a whole, a lot of news is controversial and brings many people of different cultures and ways of life to one site to share the same information.
